ABOUT THE CURE BOWL
The Cure Bowl is more than a game. It’s a celebration of the women who are living with breast cancer today and those who will face it tomorrow. It’s a memoriam of those who have lost their battle and hope for those who fight to survive. But more than that, it’s a rally cry to the world to raise awareness and help bring an end to this deadly disease once and for all.
This nationally televised game will be played in Orlando, Florida. Funds raised from the Cure Bowl will directly benefit the nation’s highest rated breast cancer organization, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, whose mission is committed to exclusively funding cancer research.
Teams and fans will be part of this historic new bowl game that feature teams from The American Athletic Conference* and The Sun Belt Conference* as it aims to someday put an end to cancer.

The Cure Bowl will feature the unique amenities and entertainment associated with Orlando, Florida – the vacation capital of the world. Since the turn of the century, people have made their way to this paradise to relax, have fun, and revive their spirit. Over recent years, Orlando has become a hub of activity in creating the next great life science clusters. In addition to its fun and world-renowned theme parks and entertainment venues, the region has welcomed world-class names in research, healthcare, and discovery to places like Lake Nona’s Medical City. Because of this, the Cure Bowl may be just down the road from where the cure for breast cancer is someday discovered.
The seventh annual Cure Bowl will kick off the Bowl Season in Orlando December 17th at 6pm on ESPN2 and it all ends on January 10th for the National Championship.
MORE THAN A GAME!
The Cure Bowl is played in December each year at Exploria Stadium in Orlando. This NCAA college football bowl game is televised on the ESPN family of networks.
Funds raised from the Cure Bowl directly benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is the largest private funder of breast cancer research worldwide, and the highest-rated breast cancer organization in the United States, investing 91 cents of every donated dollar directly into core programs.
This bowl game has helped to put Orlando at the center of some of the world’s greatest advancements in cancer science. Since 2015, the bowl has raised a collective $3.88 Million. Almost $1.2m of the funds raised have gone to Dr. Annette Khaled, professor at the UCF College of Medicine’s Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences and head of the medical school’s cancer research division.
